Welcome to my site! The Covid-19 pandemic has certainly changed the world. I am an avid tennis player, certified tennis instructor and operate a tennis travel blog. My world was disrupted to say the least. (as was everyone’s!) This site is dedicated to showing how I reached back to something I learned young and have dabbled in. When the pandemic hit and N95 masks were in short supply, the Governor of New York in a very early interview mentioned the need for help in creating masks. I pulled out my sewing machine and began sewing for something more than a hobby… sewing for a purpose!

On the advice of both Friends and Family, I opened an Etsy shop to offer my masks to a greater community. This allowed me to make and donate even more masks during the initial years of the pandemic. Along the way, I began making other items I desired, and added them to the mix. You will find sports towels, racquet covers, and gift items like aprons! All are themed based on things that I like and would want!

My Shop

I have moved on from just making masks. I began making tennis, paddle and pickleball items! Mixing my love of sewing and creating with my passion for racquet sports!

Lessons learned

Jumping back into sewing required me to learn a bit more about the equipment, the fabric, the supplies and the patterns in order to be successful. For example, I have been through three sewing machines!
